ACTIVIES NEAR MAE YA WATERFALL

Visitors might enjoy various activities on Doi inthanon, but if you wish to visit Mae Ya Waterfall in a more enjoyable way, why don’t you try bicycling to this fall? Bicycling route: Pha Tang-Mae Ya Waterfall Distance : 29km (3-4 Hours)

The start of the journey is at Pha Tang Forest Ranger Unit. Doi Pha Tang is a hill upon which Doi Pha Tang Palace and Pha Tang Forest Ranger Unit are located. The first part of the journey is all downhill with Doi Hua Seu on your left. After a while, you will reach Ban Khun Ya Noi, which is an interesting village whose people still lead primitive, agricultural style of life. After pedaling on for around 10km, you will find another Karen village called Ban Mai Sawan.

This peaceful community is located in the middle of pure natural setting, with green step farms that will turn golden in the harvest time. From this village, ride on unit you find a concrete road, turn lift for another 400m, there you are Mae YA Waterfall. Most tourists will make an arrangement with car to pick them up around this waterfall, in order to get back to spend the night at national park office (km marker 31)

Bicycling route : Mae Klang Waterfall- Mae Ya Waterfall Distance : 1km (2-3 hours) From Mae Klang Waterfall Forest Ranger Unit, ride a bicycle along the concrete road to Ban Muang Prang. Apart from the beautiful waterfalls to visit, along the way ones can also see impressive scenery of Thoong Luang, which are rice paddies that change color every season.

After passing Thoog Luang, enter the road to Mae Ya Waterfall. This fall is said to be the one of most beautiful water falls of Inthanon National Park. You may reat here for a while before pedaling back to the start or riding on minibus as arranged.

The Three Bays Scenery, Phuket

Best View Spot Neighbouring Laem Phrom Thep

Althoudh there are over twenty becaches in Phuket that travellers accepted as the most beautiful; Nai Han Beach, Kata Beach, Karon Beach, and PhaTong Beach. The four beaches share the same characteristics; the very white clean sand, and the shallow water.

Not only that they look beautiful from plain view, but the three beaches, Kata Noi, Kata, and Karon Beaches also look fabulous from birb’s eye view as well. The special feature of this site is that, the three bays are inter connected by their capes that arrange in a very beautiful line. Thus, the scenery you will get from Sam Aow view spot, or the three bays spot,Proves to be found along the road that links Nai Han Beach and Kata Beach together.

From there, you will see the three beaches line up like triple crescent moon. The length of the three capes is roughly the same. From the view spot you can see Koh Mah, another island that is not very far from Kata Beach. Also on the view spot there are parking lot, and shelter. Most of the travellers who come up here would relex in this shelter for a while, maybe just to have some coconuts, before going further.

The three bays view spot is always paired up with the Laem Phrom Thep view spot. Both are important sites tourists would not miss visiting. The Laem Phrom Thep view spot is a bit little weatward. From the three bays view spot, pass Nai Han Beach to Laem Phrom Thep. Many travellers visit the three bays view spot in the affternoon, and then go futher for the Laem Phrom Thep view spot in the evening.

If you get to Laem Phrom Thep quite early, you can also enjoy shopping batik cloth, and other souvenirs. In the evening, the place will be particularly lively. Everyone seems to gather here to watch the sea. When the sun just completely sank down, hundreds of people will applaud for the marvellous scenery they just saw.

Laem Phrom Thep is a mountain ridge that hangs over the sea about a kilometer. You can walk along this ridge and look at Koh Keaw Noi, Koh Keaw Yai, and Koh Mun. The beauty of Laem Phrom Tep is different throughout the year because of the grassy plain around the cliff. The plain is very green during rainy season, and turns gold in cold season. At that time, it will be a really captivating picture when the plain catches sunlight at the end of the day.

Mae Ya Waterfall, Chiang Mai

DOI INTHANON NATIONAL PARK IS THAILAND’S HIGHEST PEAK; IT IS 2,565M ABOVE SEA LEVEL AND COVERS AN AREA OF 1,005 SQ.KM. At this height, the weather on Doi Inthanon is comfortably cold all year round. Ranges of mountains of Doi Inthanon give birth to many tributaries of Ping River and formed many beautiful waterfalls, for instanct Siriphum Waterfall, Wachirathan Waterfall, Mae Pan Waterfalls, Mae Klang Waterfall, and Mae Ya Waterfall. This Marvellous mountrain is accessible by car and it is suitable for travelling all year round. Up there, you may enjoy driving, trekking, bicycling, bird watching, and waterfalls sightseeing.

Originated from a stream called Huai Mae Ya, Mae Ya Waterfall is one of largest and most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand. Actually it is said to be secound only to Tee Lor Su Waterfall. Location amidst the shady and cool forest settings. the water flows gracefully over the 280m high cliff down to the Ping River. Today the national park office has organized a beauty spot at the foot of this fall, so that toursts are able to appreciate the beauty of this waterfall easier and better.
