AT BHUMIBOL DAM
Suan Nam Phra Thai is a grand Park located opposite to the special guesthouses and Phu Kaew Restraurant. The beautiful landscape and serene atmosphere make it a very pleasant place to relax, picnic, or exercise with friends or family.
The King Celebratory Building Also located close to the special guesthouses and Phu Kaew restraurant, the building is constructed to extol the virtue of His Majesty the King in establishing the dam, and to give information and history of the dam to tourists.
The King Celebratory Park is localted on the right bank of Ping Rive, in the front of Bhumibol Dam. It was established in the occasion that the King has accessed to the throne for 50 years. The park is nicely decorated with flowers, and it also seves as a wonderful tent ground for tourists.
The ridge of the Dam Tourists could get to the ridge of the dam to see an impressive view of the reservoir, or go up further to the dam’s beauty spot at the Cho Por Ched Kasart Shrine to see the bresthtsking panorama. from both spots, ones can see the Bhumibol lake, the secound reservoir, as well as marvelous sunset.
